Oxeye Daisy is one of the most recognisable British wildflowers, instantly giving a meadow its classic heritage look. Large white petals with bright yellow centres create a striking contrast, especially when planted among grasses. Flowering from early summer, Oxeye Daisy is a favourite landing platform for butterflies, hoverflies and beetles. Its tall stems sway naturally in the wind and add movement and brightness to the display. Birds may feed on its seed in late summer.
