Lady’s Bedstraw adds a soft, airy texture to the meadow with its fine foliage and masses of tiny yellow flowers. In midsummer, plants can create a beautiful hazy golden cloud, adding both colour and scent—the flowers have a sweet, honey-like fragrance. Historically, the dried foliage was used to stuff bedding (hence the name) because of its pleasant aroma and natural resilience. It is drought tolerant, pollinator friendly, and brings visual lightness to the floral mix.
